Work done for MullenLowe Dubai

Communicating a message through juxtaposition of copy and visual.

Design | Art Direction

Bloomingdale’s Dubai’s Home department had identified a particular issue with their consumers. People weren’t aware of the wide range of items the Home department offers. Garlic peelers, cooking gadgets, tableware, towels, couches, rugs, closets and dining tables, were all sold at Bloomingdale’s, in a wide range of prices. The client¬†needed to communicate this breadth of items sold in their shop.

With very little budget at hand, an elaborate shoot was not an option. I wanted to communicate the desired message in the simplest terms possible. The solution was to use a visual to represent one thing, and copy telling a different story. The message therefore was created through the juxtaposition of both image and copy, to tell the whole story.
